The other day I saw a 3 legged raccoon. It wasn’t bleeding, instead
walked funny, like a 3 legged dog. How, I ask, did this raccoon come
to have three legs? When it was hit by a car or whatever caused the
injury did it scamper off to have other raccoon medical buddies patch
him up? Was it scooped up by animal control, amputated, stitched, and
healed, and then released *back* into the city to chew on people’s
garbage?
Nonetheless, it was pretty cute, hopping along.
